We are very proud to announce that we have successfully completed another building project!
In the centre of Lisbon, Alfamaknown for its traditional houses with colourful façades and typical tiles, we carried out a complete refurbishment of a traditional building.
This refurbishment has modified 14 flats to create modern and comfortable homes, while maintaining the essence of Alfama's traditional architecture and preserving the region's rich cultural heritage. As well as new bathrooms, we also replaced the windows. The windows installed improve energy efficiency and, above all, let in more natural light. The model chosen was designed to blend in perfectly with the region's architectural style. This resulted in a harmonious appearance, where old and new coexist.
The ornate wooden ceilings and traditional tiles have been preserved and restored with meticulous attention to detail.
This completed work represented a significant transformation for Alfama, bringing with it a positive impact on the local community. The revitalisation of historic buildings not only generates more jobs, but also increases property value. However, it must always be carried out sensitively in order to preserve the unique cultural identity of this region.
