The rehabilitation of a residential building located in Rua Franklim, turning into Rua das Cortes Reais in Lisbon, aims to consolidate a succession of interventions that were disqualifying its original design. The alignment of the marginal plane of the façades will serve as a motto for the definition of the volumes, which in turn will present the demarcation of the temporal transition by the introduction of the adjacent element of the semi-exterior stairs wrapped in a semi-transparent skin materialized in micro-perforated metallic panels. This protruding body, which seems to levitate, appears as a singular architectural object, the bearer of the building's new identity.
